Something important to note before deleting an employee: If an employee is deleted, their name will no longer show in any reports. Sometimes this is an issue because all of their time clock entries will no longer be on the time clock report. If you are still wanting the employee to show on reports, do NOT delete their employee account. Mark it as inactive.
Deleting an employee account:
- Go to the Employees module.
- Check the box to the left of the employee that needs to be deleted.
- Click on the "Delete" button.
Marking an employee account as Inactive:
- Go to the Employees module.
- Find the employee you are wanting to mark as inactive and click on the arrow to the right of their name. Hit "Edit".
- On the first page that pulls up, in the middle right hand side, you'll see a setting called "Is Active". Uncheck this and save settings to mark the employee as inactive.
