Plugin the EMV device to a power source and connect to the internet via an Ethernet cable

Make sure the device has powered on and is on the home screen (the home screen should say “POS Online”)
-
Press the green button to get to the device’s menu (anytime a password is required, it is always 1234)
-
Go to “Utility
-
Go to “Software Download”
-
If the device asks for “Connect Ethernet or Wireless,” choose Ethernet
-
-
Choose “Full” for the download
-
If it asks for the TPN number, the TPN number is the serial number of the device, which can be found on the underside of the device if it doesn’t already auto-populate
-
Press the green button to start the download
-
The device will download the update and then ask if you want to apply the update. Click the green button to choose yes
