This article will go over the process of creating a new, custom payment type.
Preconditions:
Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.

Access to the following modules:
- Point of Sale
- Settings
Steps:
Follow the below steps to create a custom payment type:
1. Go to the "Settings" portal > "Sales" tab (on the left) > "Point of Sale".
2. Under the "Custom Payment Type" area, you can "Add" new custom payment types or "Delete" a payment type you are no longer using.
3. Select "Save Settings" (in the upper right-hand corner) to update and save.
