How to Make a Register Log a Blind Register Close

This article will show you how to have all register closings "blind".

• Part One: Blind register close in the Point of Sale.
• Part Two: Blind register close in Food & Beverage.

Preconditions:

Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.

• Access to the following modules:

  • Sales.
  • Settings.

Steps: Part One

Follow the below steps to enable a blind register close in the Point of Sale:

1. Go to Settings.

2. Go to Sales then 'Point of Sale'.

3. Check the box next to "Blind Register Close".

4. Click "Save Settings".

5. All register in the Point of Sale will be blind and will not advise how much cash should be in the register.

Steps: Part Two

Follow the below steps to enable a blind register close in Food & Beverage:

1. Go to Settings > Sales > "Food and Beverage".

2. Check the box next to 'Blind Register Close'.

3. Click "Save Settings".

4. All register in the F&B module will be blind and will not advise how much cash should be in the register.
