Moby 5500 updates. This update aims to improve the reliability and useability of the Moby 5500 BT device in tandem with the foreUP IOS native app. Key improvements include:
A new device pairing confirmation process that verifies that the correct Moby device is being connected to the appropriate iPad, helping prevent accidental pairing when multiple devices are nearby.
A new device lock feature that allows an iPad to remain tied to a specific Moby device to avoid unintended connections.
A new setting that allows you to “Auto Initialize” before each sale to ensure that the Moby device remains connected without having to manually initialize.
Exposed the “Confirm Amount” setting so courses can choose to enable/disable per iPad.
In Person Tokenization updates for foreUP Payments. We are now saving and attaching the payment method id that was used to every sale. This allows us to issue refunds pass the normal limitations of 45/180 days. If an end user tries to issue a refund outside of those windows, instead of the refund failing, it will instead be issued as a credit to the cardholder.
Global Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where in certain cases an invoice could not be created. This was an error that limited invoices to 6 items. You should no longer be receiving an error when you create an invoice that has more than 6 line items.
Fixed an issue where Finance Charges were being applied when the statement balance had already been paid.
Fixed an issue with terminal settings where disabling a setting was not being persisted until a full page reload.
