Overview:
Finix offers several pre-defined reports that detail the activity on your account. These reports get generated regularly and are available for review in the Finix Dashboard.
Preconditions:
Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.
- Finix Login Access
Steps:
- While logged into Finix within the left-hand panel Select Reports. This will present the various categories of reports available.
- The search bar can be used to find a specific report. Simply type in the name of a report or a category.
- The View table of all reports button can be selected to view every single report at once.
- Within each report category, the most recent version of each report will be displayed regardless if it is a Daily or Monthly report.
- To download a specific report, Click on the down arrow in the right hand column next to each report. This will download a csv file of the report.
- Alternatively, the DOWNLOAD ALL button can be selected to download every report within that specific category.
Categories of Reports:
Every report is separated into a specific category:
Strategic Metrics
- Transaction Interchange: This report shows transactions for which Finix has full cost data including interchange amounts and rates. Note: some transactions do not have interchange cost data either because there was no interchange charged or refunded, or due to reporting limitations from third parties.
Finance Data
- Fee Profile: The Fee Profile Merchant report details all of your onboarded merchants and the fees applied to their transactions.
Operation, Reconciliation, & Exceptions Management
- Transactions: Transactions including gateway and payout status. Used for operations, customer service, reconciliation, and exceptions management. Includes interchange report by transaction.

Settlements:
- Settlement Merchant: The Settled Merchant report shows you all the Settlements generated the day before and aggregated by Merchant. If a Merchant has multiple processing accounts, all accounts will be aggregated in the report.
- Settlement Application: The Settled Application report displays all the settlements generated the day before, aggregated by Application. If you are a Flex Client, this report shows only one line of data for the transactions processed with Finix.
- Settlement Processor: The Settled Processor report shows you all the settlements generated the day before, aggregated by Application and by processor. If you are a Flex Client, this report shows only one line of data for your business with Finix.
- Authorizations: Authorizations including capture status and expiration. Used for operations, reconciliation, and exceptions management.
- Funding Instructions: The Failed Funding Instructions report details every Funding Instruction, or payout, that was returned. Reasons Funding Instructions can return include a closed bank account, an incorrect bank account number, etc.
- Disputes: The Chargeback Merchant report shows all the chargebacks that got generated or updated the previous day. The CSV will be blank if no chargebacks are generated or updated on the previous day.
Risk Management:
- Disputes Historical: The Chargeback Merchant (Historical) report displays a view of your Merchants and how they're processing chargebacks and Disputes. Merchants with higher disputes in the last 30 days are shown at the top of the report.
