An invoice is a one time charge to a customer account. It does not include any member balance charges/credits.
- Go to the Billing module.
- Click on “New Invoice” at the top right of the screen.
- In the top left-hand corner, search to add the customer you would like to bill.
- If you would like to charge a card on file, select it from the drop-down. The card will charge on the “Bill Date” (which can be edited in the top right-hand corner of the invoice).
- Click on the box under “New Charges” to add the items you would like to add to the bill. You can change the quantity and the price on this item if desired.
- You can add a message in the bottom left-hand corner, a footer at the bottom, or terms and conditions on the right-hand side. The customer WILL see all of these messages.
- Once all of the items are added and everything looks correct, you’ll want to edit the Bill date and "due on" date.
- The bill date is automatically going to default to the date you are creating the invoice on. You can backdate this invoice by choosing a date prior to the day you create the invoice or you can postdate this invoice by choosing a day in the future.
- The "due on" date is when the invoice is officially due.
- Once everything looks correct, click “Save”. This will generate the invoice.
