Overview
The RevPAR Dashboard is designed to give operators a clear view of their course’s performance, from the dual lenses of Tee Sheet Utilization and Greens Fees Revenue. There are three main metrics measured by this dashboard:
- RevPAR (Revenue Per Average Round)
- Average Tee Time Value
- Tee Sheet Utilization (Occupancy)
These three metrics are displayed prominently across the top of the RevPAR Dashboard. The rest of the dashboard provides deeper insight into how these numbers were calculated, as well as trends and year over year comparisons.
The main questions that this dashboard aims to answer are:
- How effectively are we selling through the available inventory on our tee sheet?
- How much revenue does the course generate for every round it could have sold?
And with a bit more thought, operators can use the RevPAR Dashboard to start answering questions such as:
- Are there days or times that we should raise or lower our greens fees?
- What is the opportunity cost to host a tournament or event, based on the typical performance of the requested date/time slots?
Reports (in order of appearance)
RevPAR:
- Displays the final calculated value of RevPAR, based on the dashboard filters. Additionally, it displays the value of RevPAR for the time period occurring one year prior, and a comparison between the two periods.

Average Tee Time Value:
- Displays the final calculated Average Tee Time Value, based on the dashboard filters. Additionally, it displays the value for the time period occurring one year prior, and a comparison between the two periods.
- Click anywhere on this widget to display a fly-out dashboard with further information about how this number is calculated (Greens Fees Revenue / Sold Rounds) as well as monthly trends and comparisons.
Tee Sheet Utilization:
- Displays the final calculated value of Tee Sheet Utilization, based on the dashboard filters. Additionally, it displays the value for the time period occurring one year prior, and a comparison between the two periods.

Total Available Rounds:
- Displays the total number of available rounds at the course, based on the dashboard filters. Additionally, it displays the value for the time period occurring one year prior, and a comparison between the two periods.

Sold Rounds:
- Displays the total number of rounds sold at the course, based on the dashboard filters. Additionally, it displays the value for the time period occurring one year prior, and a comparison between the two periods.

Greens Fees Revenue:
- Displays the total collected revenue for greens fees at the course, based on the dashboard filters. Greens Fees Revenue does not include cart fees, membership dues, F&B, etc – it is solely the dollar amount associated with items marked as ‘greens fees’ in the course’s inventory (typical item names: 18 Holes, 9 Holes, 18 Holes Member, 9 Holes Non-Member, etc.)

RevPAR by Month:
Displays The monthly values of RevPAR and Average Tee Time as separate bars, and Tee Sheet Utilization as an overlayed line, with points plotted for each of the past 24 months. This report ignores the dashboard date filter to display the full 2 year range (if data exists).
RevPAR by Day of Week:
- Displays the average values of RevPAR and Average Tee Time as separate bars, and Tee Sheet Utilization as an overlayed line. The values displayed are the average values for each metric, grouped by the day of the week, measured over the dashboard’s filtered Date Range.
- Click on any bar in the chart to display an option “Jump to _drill_revpar_revparDrill”:
- Clicking this option displays a fly-out dashboard providing further analysis of course performance for the selected day of the week, including:
- Average Tee Sheet Utilization, Average Tee Time Value, & RevPAR
- Hourly breakdowns of course utilization & greens fees revenue
RevPAR by Hour of Day:
- Displays the average values of RevPAR and Average Tee Time as separate bars, and Tee Sheet Utilization as an overlayed line. The values displayed are the average values for each metric, grouped by the hour of the day, measured over the dashboard’s filtered Date Range.
- Click on any bar in the chart to display an option “Jump to _drill_revpar_hourlyAnalysis”:
- Clicking this option displays a fly-out dashboard providing further analysis of course performance for the selected hour of the day, including:
- Average Tee Sheet Utilization, Average Tee Time Value, & RevPAR
- Breakdowns of course utilization & greens fees revenue by Day of the Week
RevPAR – By Day of Week & Hour of Day:
- Displays the calculated RevPAR for each Day of Week and Hour of Day combination possible across the courses Tee Sheets. Cells containing higher values are shaded in progressively darker green, allowing users to quickly identify high performing time periods and low performing periods.
RevPAR – Top by Day of Week/Hour of Day:
- This table pulls each cell from the neighboring pivot chart and ranks the values from highest to lowest. This can help to identify the specific day and times that the course is typically most or least busy.
