Global Enhancements
-
Calendars - Reservation length in the Calendar Reservations modal now displays in a reader-friendly format (e.g., "1 Hour 30 Minutes") instead of a number, consistent with how duration is shown in day template settings.
-
Calendars - Reservation length now displays in a reader-friendly format (e.g., "1 Hour 30 Minutes") in the online Calendar reservation length filter and on the Reservation Details page, replacing the previous numeric-only display. The Reservation Details page also now shows the full-time range in the header, where it previously only showed start time.
-
Calendars - Replaced the Calendar season timeframe date picker with a more user-friendly widget, replacing the previous minute-by-minute scroll selector.
- Tee Sheet - Starting side and rotation details are now included on printed sales receipts and starter slips when the Print Tee Time Details setting is enabled, giving starters and golf shop staff a quick reference for where each golfer should begin their round.
- Payments - We now support Unreferenced refunds for Card Present and Card Not Present on ODIN. This allows our courses to set a daily limit in the ODIN dashboard per merchant that allows them to process a refund without needing the original sale id.
- Customers - Customer search suggestions now show the customer's account number instead of a duplicated phone number, so staff can tell similar-name profiles apart faster.
- Text Marketing / Business Verification - The Business Verification form for text marketing now validates required fields (including website URL format) before submitting, so incomplete or malformed data is caught immediately instead of silently failing into a stuck "pending verification" state.
- F&B Receipts - Customer-facing itemized receipts now print only modifiers that affect price (modifier group names are omitted), keeping receipts cleaner while still showing paid add-ons.
-
F&B Receipts - Printed F&B receipts now show suggested tip options with pre-calculated totals, so guests can pick a tip amount without doing the math by hand.
- POS / Gift Cards - In the customer Gift Cards tab in the Sales module, cards with remaining value and earlier expiration dates sort to the top, and empty or expired cards move to the bottom, so staff can apply the right card faster.
- Calendars - Calendar open and close times can now be configured independently from tee sheet open and close times. This gives operators more control over booking availability for different facility types, such as simulators, ranges, swimming pools, or other reservable spaces that may not operate on the same hours as the golf course. At this time, the setting is separated between all tee sheets and all Calendars rather than being calendar-specific. Courses can still use day templates and time frames to further restrict online booking availability when needed.
- Calendars - Calendar confirmation emails now use a dedicated template tailored to time-based reservations. This replaces the golf-specific confirmation email language with details that better fit any facility type, including the date, time range, reservation length, capacity, and subtotal. Golf-specific details such as holes and carts will no longer appear on Calendar confirmation emails.
- Tee Sheet - Golf confirmation emails for 9-hole tee times on 18-hole or larger tee sheets will now include the starting 9 or starting side. For example, the confirmation can clarify whether the golfer is starting on the front or back nine. This should reduce confusion for properties with multiple nines or custom rotations.
- Tee Sheet/Online Booking - The booking code error message has been updated to provide clearer guidance when a user encounters a session-related issue. The message will now direct the user to log out, refresh their browser, log back in, and try again, which should help guide users back into the correct booking flow.
- Tee Sheet/Online Booking - The booking code email subject line and body have been updated to make it clear that the reservation is not confirmed until the booking code is entered. The updated messaging tells golfers they are almost done booking their tee time, that their code will expire shortly, and that the code must be entered in the portal to complete the reservation.
Global Bug Fixes
- Tee Sheet - Fixed a vulnerability where tee time confirmation emails contained a cancellation link that could trigger an automatic cancellation without action from the user and requiring the user to log in. Cancellation now directs users to log in and cancel through their account.
- Legacy Online Booking - Fixed an issue in Legacy Online Booking where selecting a tee time before logging in would cause the Book Time modal to not reappear after login, forcing the golfer to select their tee time again.
- Legacy Online Booking - Fixed an issue in Legacy Online Booking where selecting a tee time before logging in with "Use Customer Pricing" enabled could result in duplicate reservations being created after the golfer reselected their tee time and completed the booking.
- Account Info - Fixed an issue in the online account information form where the State and ZIP fields were displaying raw code in their placeholder text, and state values were not saving correctly. Fields now display proper labels and save as expected.
- Calendar - Fixed an issue where the Calendar online booking flow was incorrectly requiring a credit card when "Allow Online Payment" was set to Optional and "Require Credit Card Online" was unchecked, preventing golfers from completing a Pay at Facility booking without entering a card.
- Calendar - Fixed an issue where the online Calendar date picker started the week on Monday instead of Sunday, inconsistent with the tee sheet and standard US calendar conventions.
- Tee Sheet - Fixed an issue where an 18-hole tee sheets header in the tee sheet module was displaying both side names even when "Hide Back Nine" was enabled.
- Setup - Fixed an issue in Online Year Setup Day Templates where the time picker would appear at the top of the page instead of next to the timeframe being edited, and non-default timeframes were incorrectly displaying "Default" as their label.
- Payments - Fixed a bug that was creating duplicate ODIN API users when saving terminal settings. We have now consolidated all the duplicates.
- Payments - Fixed a bug where the foreUP Payments module wouldn’t load the Payments tab in certain scenarios.
- Device Registration - Fixed a bug where device registration used the logged in terminal as opposed to the target terminals credentials.
- Sales - Fixed a bug for Stripe users where we are now handling the API errors correctly after the stripe-php v8 update.
- Text Marketing - Fixed an issue where Vonage brand registration used the Business Details website (or course website) instead of the Website URL entered on the Business Verification form, which could cause silent brand registration failures.
- Marketing / Email - Fixed an issue where email unsubscribe (and related manage-email-settings flows) did not reliably opt recipients out of marketing sends, so customers who unsubscribed could continue receiving campaign emails.
- F&B - Further updates were made to improve an issue where adding an item to an F&B tab before adding a customer with a group discount could cause the discounted total to not reflect correctly in the UI. This could result in an overpayment and require a second transaction to close the tab.
- Tee Sheet - Further updates were made to improve an issue where creating a reservation for 5 or more players would incorrectly trigger a double-booking warning, even when enough open slots were available to accommodate the group.
- F&B - Fixed an issue where manually applying a promotion to an item in F&B had no effect, even though the promotion appeared to be selected.
- Tee Sheet/Online Booking - Fixed an issue where the booking timestamp in the tee time details notes on the tee time edit modal was displaying in UTC instead of the course’s local time zone for prepaid online bookings. The timestamp should now align with the course’s local time and reduce confusion when reviewing booking details.
- Tee Sheet/Online Booking - Fixed an issue in certain MCO setups where selecting a reservation group on the online booking landing page could load the wrong tee sheet ID. This could cause users to get stuck on a white screen after entering their booking code.
- Sales/Customer Statements - Fixed an issue where hidden items within an item kit were still visible on member statements and in the customer-facing online portal ledger when the purchase was made with member balance or customer credit. Hidden kit items will now be consistently excluded from customer-facing areas, including receipts, transaction history, and generated statements.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Adjusted overcapture allowances to 150% or $50, whichever is greater, based on the last authorized amount. This should reduce the majority of tip capture failures.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed an issue where a null payment method type on ODIN transfers could route debit card refunds to the device list path. Payment method ID and payment method type are now being saved to help prevent those refund failures.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed an issue where card-present sales were writing $0.00 to the credit card row, which could cause refund issues by prompting for an unexpected amount. A script was also run to backfill older affected sales so those transactions can still be refunded correctly.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed an issue where printed receipt totals were not recalculated after a surcharge was removed for manual card entry. The receipt will now pull live receipt data rather than stale receipt data.
- foreUP Payments 1.0- Fixed an issue where credit card surcharges were not applying to card-on-file purchases for courses using foreUP Payments 1.0.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed an issue where the tip line receipt could show $0.00 item prices even though the total was correct. This was another surcharging edge case tied to stale receipt data and has been corrected.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed a rare partial payment flow edge case introduced with surcharging. If a debit card was used first in a split payment, the sale could be left with an outstanding balance and users could be unable to close the ticket. This should now be resolved.
- Payments (Stripe) - Fixed an issue where some Stripe customers were unable to add tips to certain credit card transactions. This issue had been occurring for several months and should now be resolved, though the team will continue to review any additional reports that appear to be separate scenarios.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed multiple display issues in the foreUP Payments module where type, status, and other data values were coming over incorrectly.
- foreUP Payments 2.0 - Fixed an issue where the payout total in the Settlement Overview of the foreUP Payments module was displaying incorrectly. The payout total should now match the value shown in the ODIN dashboard.
