Document Overview:
The foreUP Payments reconciliation process has been recently updated and modified with a new payments modal to create a smoother experience for courses. This process is outlined below and supported by the following documentation:

Reconciliation Process:
Within the foreUP Software, access The Reports Module
- Locate and select the Z-Out report option from the available report types.
- Specify the desired date range for the report. Typically, this will be the end of a business day.
- Select Run to initiate the report generation process. The software will compile the necessary data and generate the Z-Out report based on the selected date range.
- Once the report is generated, carefully review the information presented. Pay attention to sales totals, payment breakdowns, discounts, taxes, and any other relevant details.
- Collect and count the cash in the cash register or drawer. Ensure it matches the cash total reported in the Z-Out report.
- If other payment methods such as gift cards, vouchers, or checks are accepted, verify the transactions and compare them to the corresponding entries in the Z-Out report.
- Access foreUP Payments to cross-reference the credit card transactions listed in the Z-Out report with the records from foreUP payments. Ensure the totals align.
- Use the Settlement Overview tab to identify any discrepancies between these and the Z-Out report. This could include mistakes in recording transactions, refunds, voided transactions, or other errors.
- Once you determine the cause of discrepancies, make the necessary adjustments in the ForeUP software to correct any errors or reconcile the amounts.
- Ensure that all adjustments and corrections have been properly made in the system. Verify that the total amounts in the Z-Out report match the reconciled cash and payment totals.
