Overview:
This article will outline the steps to creating a new customer from the sales module.
Preconditions:
Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.
- Access to the Sales module.
Steps:
Follow the below steps to create a new customer from the sales module:
1. Go to the "Sales" module.
2. Click on the "+" button found to the right of the customer search bar
3. Fill out the required customer information within the pop-up, click "Save Changes" in the bottom right, and refresh your screen.
4. Search for the new customer you just created in the Search Bar to add them to the sale.
*NOTE: if you are looking for an existing customer, click in the "Customer Search Box." Then type in a name or hit the down arrow key on the keyboard to search.
