Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.
- Access to the Point of Sale module
- Merchant Processing set up and Credentials entered
Follow the below steps to add a comment on a receipt:
1. When you're in Sales module, select 'Pay Now' after you've added items to the Sales cart.
2. In the Pay Now screen, you'll see a 'Customer Note' box. Type your comment here, and then process the sale like normal.
The comment will appear on the receipt that prints.

A: Yes! Comments can be viewed on the Sales Report by clicking "Edit" on the Sales ID you wish to view. The comments will show up in the Edit Sale screen.
