Overview
The Tee Time Display Monitor allows your facility to display upcoming tee times on a public-facing screen such as a television, monitor, or digital display in your golf shop, clubhouse, or staging area.
This feature automatically displays the next available booking opportunities for singles, twosomes, threesomes, and foursomes. It is designed to improve customer visibility, streamline operations, and help golfers quickly identify open tee times.
Preconditions
- Your facility must be using foreUP Tee Sheet
- You must have administrator access to Settings within foreUP
- A television, monitor, or browser-enabled display device is recommended for public viewing
Accessing Display Board Settings
- Log in to foreUP
- Navigate to Settings
- Select Online Customer Portal
- Choose Display Board
From this page, you can configure the messaging and settings used on your Tee Time Display Monitor.
Tee Time Display Monitor Functionality
The Tee Time Display Monitor automatically displays upcoming tee times in a clean, public-facing format.
The monitor includes:
- Upcoming tee times
- Player counts for each tee time
- Next available tee times by group size
- Custom announcement messaging
- Course name display
Understanding the Display Board Layout
Upcoming Tee Times
The main section of the monitor displays upcoming tee times in chronological order.
- Each tile displays the tee time
- The player count appears alongside the tee time
- Tee times update automatically based on live tee sheet availability
Next Available Tee Times
At the bottom of the display board, foreUP automatically shows the next available tee time for:
- Singles
- Twosomes
- Threesomes
- Foursomes
This helps golfers and staff quickly identify the next available booking opportunity without searching through the tee sheet.
Announcements Section
The left side of the monitor includes an announcement area that can be customized with important facility information.
Common uses include:
- Cart path restrictions
- Frost delays
- Tournament information
- Food and beverage promotions
- General course announcements
Editing Display Board Announcements
To update the announcement text shown on the Tee Time Display Monitor:
- Navigate to Settings > Online Customer Portal > Display Board
- Locate the Online Reservations Display Board Settings section
- Enter your custom announcement message in the text editor
- Click Save Settings
Changes are reflected on the display board automatically after saving.
Launching the Tee Time Display Monitor
The display monitor can be opened by doing the following:
- In a web browser, pull up your foreUP online booking portal
- Click on one of your online booking groups (e.g. Public)
- Once you are viewing tee times within that online booking group, use the keyboard shortcut ALT + B to activate the display monitor mode!
Many facilities choose to:
- Run the display on a dedicated clubhouse monitor
- Use a smart TV browser
- Connect a mini PC or media device to a television
- Display the board near the golf shop check-in area

- Keep announcement messaging concise
- Review announcements daily for accuracy
- Place the monitor in a high-visibility area
- Use larger display screens for easier readability
- Refresh the browser periodically if the display remains open for extended periods
