Back 9 Booking

Overview:

Back 9 Booking gives you the ability to turn on online booking for your back 9. Previous to this feature, you only had the ability to control your online booking settings for the front 9. In this step-by-step guide, we will walk you through the process of customizing your back 9 booking settings.

Preconditions:

Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.

• Access to the New Tee Sheet
• 18 hole Tee Sheet created
• Tee Sheet settings in place
  • Tee Time Increment
  • Time to Finish 9 Holes
  • Open and Close Time
• NOTE: This feature will not work with the Sunrise and Sunset setting.
• NOTE: This feature will not work with 3rd Party Booking sites.

Steps:

Follow the below steps to allow Back 9 Booking for your customers online: 

1. Click on the Top-left Module Dropdown Menu and click on the "Settings" module.
2. Select “Tee Sheets” from the left column.
3. Edit your tee sheet by clicking on the Action dropdown button.
4. Once you are in your tee sheet settings, select the “Online Year Setup” tab.
   • In the Online Year Setup tab, you will be able to create “day templates” with customized settings.
   • Day templates can be applied to specific days in the Online Year Setup.
5. Select "+ Add Day Template"
   
6. Add a Day Template Name.
   • This will not be visible to customers and will only be visible in the Online Year Setup.
7. Add a Day Template Color.
   • This will not be visible to customers and will only be visible in the Online Year Setup.
     
8. Set your “Default” timeframe. The settings made in this timeframe will only apply if you do not have a custom timeframe during a certain part of the day.
9. Select “Add Timeframe” to create a custom timeframe to apply the Back 9 Booking settings. 
   
10. Set the Start Time for the beginning of your day.
    In this example, we will be using 7 am as a starting time. Please adjust the setting according to your start time.
    
11. Set the End Time for the last available back 9 tee time. The best time for this is before your front 9 starts to reround to the back 9. 
    In this example, we will be using 9 am as an end time. Please adjust the setting according to your end time.
    
12. Set Front 9 settings (screenshot Below): 
    1. Add a label. The label will appear in each tee time slot on the front 9 of your tee sheet
    2. Add a color. This will highlight your tee sheet with the color of your choice
    3. Toggle the “Allow Online Booking” on or off
    4. Select the “# of Players allowed”  
    5. Select the “Cart Requirement” for this timeframe
    6. Select the “#of Holes Requirement” for this timeframe
13. Set Back 9 settings. The Back 9 settings will have mandatory steps to enable back 9 booking (screenshot below):
    1. Add a label. The label will appear in each tee time slot on the back 9 of your tee sheet
    2. Add a color. This will highlight your tee sheet with the color of your choice
    3. Toggle the “Allow Online Booking” on or off
    4. Select the “# of Players allowed”  
    5. Select the “Cart Requirement” for this timeframe
    6. Mandatory Step: Set #of Holes Requirement on the Back 9 Settings to 9 holes only.
       
14. Add any additional needed timeframes.
15. Click "Save" when complete.
