How To Comp A Sale In Food & Beverage

Overview:

Every now and then you will need to comp a sale in the Food & Beverage module. This article will go over the steps.

Preconditions:

Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.

• Access to the F&B Module.
• Employee Permission Level: Manager or Admin.

Steps:

Follow the below steps to comp a sale:

1. Go to the F&B module and click on the Tab or Table that needs to be adjusted.
2. In the tab or table click the "Pay Now/Split" button.
3. Click "Admin Override".
4. Enter a Manager or Admin Employee Pin Number.
5. Click "Comp".
6. Select the Item to adjust.
7. Enter the Discount Percentage Amount and click "Save"
   • Optional: Select a Reason for the adjustment.
8. You can now comp additional items or complete the sale as normal.
