Overview:
The foreUP Food & Beverage module will allow you to switch the employee assigned to a tab or table. This article will go over the steps.
Preconditions:
Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.

Access to the F&B Module.
- An open tab.
Steps:
Follow the below steps to switch employees between tables:
- Using the top-left module dropdown menu, select the Food & Beverage module.
- Login using an Employee Pin.
- Right-click on the Tab or Table you want to switch employees on. A pop-up box with the text "Switch Employee" will appear. Click "Switch Employee".
- In the Change Employee pop-up screen, click on the Employee or Search Employees to assign a new employee to the tab.
- The selected employee will now be assigned as the employee on the tab.
FAQ:
Q: When switching employees on the tab, will the recipient of the tip also be updated automatically?
A: No. When adding the tip, the recipient will need to be updated to the employee that was switched to the table. Please see the article How to Add a Tip for more information about tips.

That is a big help in the right direction. We have members that wander the place. Since we pool tips, it is ok if the next person moves the ticket to their station. The question is if another employee opens a ticket and then moves another ticket to them, do they merge or does one vanish?
