Overview:
The purpose of this article is to give a step-by-step guide on creating and setting up a tee time reminder email.
Preconditions:
Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.
- Access to the Marketing Module
- Any tee time reminder email sent by the software will count towards your monthly marketing email limits.
Steps:
- Go to the marketing module by clicking in the top-left dropdown and selecting "Marketing"
- Start creating a new email campaign by clicking on the "New Email Campaign" button in the top right. You can also choose and use one of the default templates already created by clicking on the "Default Templates" folder and finding a Tee Time reminder custom template that you would like to base your emails on.
- Edit the email to fit your needs. We recommend adding your course's logo. If you would like to automatically pull important customer-specific information into the email, please use the below field keys/merge tags:

- Customer First Name: {{customer.first_name}}
- Tee Time Date: {{teetime.date}}
- Tee Time Time: {{teetime.time}}

- Once you have composed the email, Rename the Campaign
- We recommend you save the newly created email as one of your custom templates by clicking "Save as Template" in the bottom right after you have renamed the campaign name
- To start sending the email out to your customers, click "Recipients" in the bottom right
- On the Recipients page, click on the "Add Groups of Customers to List" dropdown and select "Everyone" if you would like the software to send out a tee time reminder email to all of your customers and click "+Add Selected Group" (If you only want to send the tee time reminder email to a specific subset of your customer database, choose only that group(s)
- Click "Campaign Details" in the bottom right
- On the details page, fill in the following fields:
- Email Subject Line
- Email From Name
- Email Preview Snippet
- From Email Address (if you do not want customers to respond to your email, add a no-reply email)
- Under the "Schedule Campaign" header, choose "Create Based on Event" and you will be able to choose the number of minutes or days the tee time reminder email will be sent before the actual tee time
- Once you have selected when you want the tee time reminder email to be sent, click "Review" in the bottom right where you will be able to give the email one last review to ensure all looks correct. If all looks correct, click "Schedule Campaign!" in the bottom right and your tee time reminder email will be sent out based upon the settings you selected above!
