Creating a Gift Card within the Gift Cards Module

Overview:

This article will teach you how to issue a Gift Card without needing to sell a Gift Card. This is only recommended if a Gift Card was previously sold in another system but you would like the ability to redeem the Gift Card in foreUP.

Preconditions:

Preconditions are the necessary settings, permissions, and items created in your software to allow the feature to work.

• Must have access to the Gift Card module

Steps:

Follow the below steps to create a gift card within the gift card module: 

1. Go the Gift Cards module. 

2. Click on the "New Gift Card" button (located on the left-hand side of the page).

3. Fill out information and then click "Save".

*NOTE: only information in "red" is required.
